Based on HFEA data, Jessop Fertility's birth rate per embryo transferred (excluding donor egg and PGT-A cycles) is consistent with the UK national average. This figure is based on 785 embryos transferred, giving a narrow reliability range and a high degree of confidence in the result. The fertility unit was last inspected by the HFEA in March 2025 and received a rating of 5 out of 5. The CQC inspected Jessop Wing in September 2022 and rated it Requires Improvement overall across safety, effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership. These ratings relate to maternity services and do not necessarily reflect the performance of the fertility unit.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they reach out

1. “What if I change my mind after we start?”

You can stop at any point. There’s no contract, no obligation, and no penalty. If you decide this isn’t right for you — at any stage — you can walk away.

2. “What happens on the first call?”

It’s a conversation, not a consultation. Your coordinator will ask about your situation, what you’ve already tried, and your preferences — and then walk you through what we can do for you. Most calls take around 15-30 minutes.

3. “What if I don’t know if I’m ready to start?”

You don’t need to have everything figured out. Some people reach out while they’re still weighing their options. Some have already visited a clinic and want a second perspective. Wherever you are in this journey, a conversation is a good place to start.

4. “Do I need to have any tests or documents ready?”

Not for the first conversation. Just tell us what you know. If we need medical records later, we’ll tell you exactly what to send and help you get it sorted.

5. “How long does choosing a clinic take?”

Most people hear back with clinic recommendations within a few days of their call. From there, it depends on how quickly you want to move and how quickly the clinics respond.
