He holds a postgraduate degree in Human Reproductive Biology from Imperial College School of Medicine and is a Diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists and ESHRE-certified Senior Embryologist. Previously Director of Embryology at the Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health for 19 years, he was among the first to introduce egg and embryo-freezing vitrification technology to the UK in 2007. A world-renowned expert in embryo biopsy for genetic testing, he's also co-founder and director of the Embryology and PGD Academy, has published extensively in high-impact journals, and is an honorary lecturer at University College London with particular interests in fertility preservation and preimplantation genetic diagnosis.
