Annabel is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Fertility Exeter, where she has been practising since 2020. She completed her specialist training in reproductive medicine at the Assisted Conception Unit at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, with a particular focus on fertility preservation and male infertility. She provides comprehensive fertility and early pregnancy care, alongside outpatient hysteroscopy services across North Devon and East Devon, ensuring continuity of care for patients across a broad geographic area. Annabel also has a strong clinical interest in advanced ultrasound diagnostics, including 3D ultrasound imaging. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Fertility Society, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Sonal began her clinical career at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and has since gained extensive experience across multiple hospitals in the UK and internationally. She joined Fertility Exeter in 2017, bringing a broad and well-established background in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her medical degree in Mumbai with distinction, followed by postgraduate training in London, where she obtained her MRCOG and DFSRH qualifications. Sonal is an RCOG-approved Tier 2 Medical Educator and is actively involved in teaching. She contributes as a tutor at the University of Exeter Medical School and trains specialist nurses in ultrasound imaging and assisted conception procedures. She also coordinates the satellite programme for pre-implantation genetic testing in collaboration between Fertility Exeter and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Sonal has presented at numerous national and international conferences and received the Poster Prize at the European Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2014. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
