Sheryl Homa is an HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist with special interest in male fertility. She holds degrees in Biochemistry from Imperial College of Science and Technology and Middlesex Hospital Medical School. She spent much of her career as an academic research scientist in oocyte maturation, funded by the National Institutes of Health in the USA, and served as Scientific Director of several UK fertility clinics in both public and private sectors. Recognizing that male fertility was marginalized, she founded Andrology Solutions in 2007, the first and only HFEA-licensed clinic dedicated to male infertility. She has authored numerous scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters and introduced novel state-of-the-art testing for male infertility, including chemiluminescence assay for measuring seminal reactive oxygen species. Currently she is honorary Professor in Biosciences at University of Kent and consultant clinical lead for Andrology at The Doctors Laboratory.

Rachel Mackie graduated from the University of Glasgow with an Honours degree in Anatomy. She pursued a Masters in Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Conception at the University of Dundee, achieving a distinction. During her studies and training, she developed keen interest in male fertility and completed a research project investigating mitophagy in mouse testes. She joined Andrology Solutions in December 2022 as a full-time Andrologist.
